Michigan’s Largest Skilled Trades Hiring Event

Metro Detroit, MI – Hired In Michigan Community Empowerment is proud to announce the Michigan Skilled Careers Job Fair, taking place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. This in-person hiring event will be hosted at the Radisson Hotel and is expected to attract over 3,000 job seekers.

The event is featured on WDIV Channel 4 News, featuring employers Stellantis and edtech central, and resume writing workshops by Grow with Google. It offers a robust platform for employers and job seekers to connect face-to-face in key industries, including:

• Skilled Trades & Industrial
• Manufacturing & Production
• Healthcare & Medical
• Technology & Logistics
• Retail, Hospitality, and more

What to Expect:

• Live broadcast coverage by WDIV from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Interactive employer booths and on-the-spot interviews
• Resume-building and job search workshops co-hosted with Grow with Google
• Opportunities for veterans, apprentices, certified professionals, and returning citizens

Employers attending the Michigan Skilled Careers Job Fair conduct an average of 150–200 interviews on-site and receive 250–500 qualified resumes during the event. This job fair presents a significant opportunity for immediate hiring and workforce connection.
